Our family had a wonderful experience at Mackworth House Farm, just 25 km from the nearest airport. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. Peter, our host, was attentive and thoughtful, accommodating our early check-in request due to a wedding nearby. We stayed in a top-floor suite with its own kitchenette, which made it easy for us to prepare snacks and meals for the kids. The beds were comfy, and the living area provided ample space for our family to relax. One of the highlights was waking up to the sounds of the farm; seeing the cows together in the morning was delightful for my little ones. The continental breakfast set up in our room was a great start to our day, and we were thankful for the fresh milk in the fridge. We also enjoyed exploring the rural surroundings. Mackworth House Farm provided a family-friendly atmosphere that made our stay enjoyable. We plan to return on our next trip to the Peak District.
